I consider myself to be a people person.
I'm a native of the Triangle area, so I know this place well.
I take pride in being a productive member of the community, serving my friends and neighbors every single day.
I started Access Lock and Key because I saw the need for an honest locksmith service in the Cary, NC area.
Some locksmiths add hidden fees into their quotes, and I knew I didn't want to do that.
There are a thousand things to do when you move into a new home, but make sure that a re-key is at the top of your list.
You are probably not the only person walking around with keys to your home!
Previous residents and service providers who worked for previous residents may have copies as well.
Of course, closing on that great new home is not the only reason why you might need or want a residential re-key.
It's always a good idea to be in control of who has any keys to your property.
It only takes one disgruntled former employee to cause thousands of dollars of damage at your business location.
Of course, sometimes you know exactly who the unwanted key holder is.
It's always a good idea to re-key your property when you're getting a divorce or after a change of roommates.
These aren't happy events, but completing the re-key can bring a great deal of relief.
Once it's done you no longer have to worry about what the unwanted key holder is going to do.
Locks usually last many years, but eventually they do wear out.
A lock is a piece of mechanical equipment like any other, one with moving parts that wear down and wear out.
Does your business rely on the trust that you extend to key holding employees?
Then you don't want to let those keys out of your control.
If an employee moves on without returning his or her keys then you've got a real situation on your hands.
You need to re-key right away.
That employee might lose the key because it no longer matters to him, which means keys to your business location could wind up in the hands of an unscrupulous stranger.
He or she may become disgruntled, which means they might well use the key to return to your location to vandalize it, or to commit theft, greatly harming your business in the future.
If You have lost your keys and trying to use alternative methods, this may result in damage to your vehicle.
Nothing is more stressful than losing your car keys.
9 times out of 10 you find them around the house: in the pockets of the pants you wore yesterday, or hiding under a book.
The 10th time is the real doozy-the time when the keys are just gone, and you don't have a spare.
When this happens, you have several options.
One is expensive, one damages your car, and one gets you on the road fast.
