Armor Lock & Key, with more than 20 years of professional locksmith experience, has provided honest, secure, and affordable services to clients in Madison County and the surrounding areas since 2004.
Owner Alex Ramirez created his mobile locksmith company in New York way back in 1994.
Ten years, several states, and many, many locks later, he settled his business here in Madison County and has been helping clients with their automotive, residential, and commercial locksmith needs ever since.
When you call this locally owned and operated locksmith company, you'll speak directly to Mr. Ramirez instead of a dispatcher, and he'll be your only locksmith throughout the process.
Armor Lock & Key's owner Alex Ramirez is an "Automotive Specialist."
In fact, the more complex a locking system is, the better he likes it.
He's so dedicated to his craft that other locksmiths often send their difficult work to him!
According to Alex, if he can't make the key you need, then he can get it made - all makes of cars, all years, and all types.
By the way, did we mention that he's an "Automotive Specialist?"

If your car was made after 1983, chances are your key came with what's called a "fob, " or a "remote."
Remotes perform a variety of jobs, from unlocking the car's doors to actually starting the motor, and it's all done by radio frequency without the user ever touching the car or using the key.
If your vehicle is newer, however, your remote may be capable of much more.
Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) allows a remote to communicate with a vehicle from as far away as 30 feet, and now every function that once required a key can be triggered at a distance by an RFID remote.
Vehicle transponder keys - used since the 1990s - have a microchip embedded in the plastic head of the key that acts as a radio transmitter.
The name itself comes from a combination of the terms "transmitter" and "responder."
The embedded chip sends a specific numeric code via radio signal to the antenna coil in the vehicle's ignition; if the chip sends the correct number, the engine immobilizers are turned off and the engine starts.
If it doesn't, it won't.
That radio frequency technology (RFID) is what makes your newer vehicle more secure than vehicles in the past, but it's also what makes your vehicle's key replacement more complicated and more expensive.
Armor Lock & Key is a professional locksmith service with over 15 years of industry experience.
