When he moved to Nevada County in 1978, he was hired as the first employee at the only established shop in the county.
He continued as manager of that shop until 2009.
Mike has also worked for a major locksmith wholesaler in Southern California which gave him an in-depth knowledge of lock manufacturers and their products.
While there he participated in many industry related classes, seminars and trade shows.
