Online Locksmith Store started back in 2013 as an idea, After 10 years as a mobile locksmith technician group, meeting many clients which express their ability and interest to try out and perform simple locksmith tasks by themselves, We got tired hearing You're done?
I could do that myself" or I would not have to call you if I had this tool" and "I usually fix this myself but I can't find this lock anywhere" We decided to start this online store and offer locksmith quality hardware and tools (the legal ones) to the public.7 years later, we are very happy we had the chance to offer our goods to over 100,000 customers.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.

Services
We know from personal experience that a professional locksmith labor can get expensive.
When gas prices and living expenses keep going up, the labor also goes up and now the average service call of an automotive locksmith will range from $45-$85, not including any jobs they might have to perform.
We want to help you save some of this money buy teaching you to do some of this work by yourself.
For that, we've made a few "Do It Yourself - DIY" and information guides to help you through it, and we are still working on more, promising to add as many new ones as we can every week.

Transponder car key is any vehicle starting device what includes in it a transponder chip (transponder = transmitter + responder).
This is a security system that disarms the vehicle immobilizer system and allows the ignition to start the engine.
Every time you insert the car keys into the ignition switch cylinder and try to turn it on the car computer (ECU = engine control unit) sends an electric pulse to the ignition asking the key to return a pulse back and if the ECU receives the correct pulse value it will disarm the immobilizer allowing the engine to start.

In the early 80's GM introduced a new security system to its vehicles: VATS = Vehicle Anti Theft System, also known as PASS = Personal Automotive Security System.
GM embedded a resistor to each key on its blade, each resistor with a different random value numbered from 1-15.
Every time the driver tries to start the engine the vehicle ignition switch sends an electric pulse through the resistor that measures its value.
When it recognizes a value other than the original it will not start the engine, but instead it will "freeze" the starter for 3 minutes, which makes stealing the vehicle a much harder and longer task.

After 10 seconds the security light will appear and a single chime will sound - you are in programming mode.
Within 60 seconds remove the key, insert the NEW key and turn the ignition to ON position.
Remote buttons and FOBIK buttons will be programmed automatically when you program the transponder chip.
